An Old Friend
The Audio Technica ATH-M50x are a really popular set of headphones.
I had a pair of them, too, since 2015. My first set of “nice” heaphones, and I used them on so many projects, audio, video and music.
But in recent times, having some “better” models and indeed wireless alternatives, I didn’t use them any more. And like a new car only ever staying in a climate controlled garage, or a tennis racket that is never used on the court, there is something sad about an unused musical instrument. Something about things not working according to purpose.
Better, I thought, that they get used every week rather than once a year. And that means it’s time for them to have a new owner.
In my last few minutes of ownership I made a little farewell video with them. Someone will have a tremendous time!
